Vehicle Description Let me introduce Stella, a 1951 Ford F-1 Pickup 5 star cab Restomod built on a 4WD 2001 Ford Explorer frame.
She's been sitting untouched in my garage for over a year and sadly must go.
Powered by a 1991 Ford Bronco 351 Windsor, rebuilt.
030 over with 2 hours engine stand break-in time and 0 road miles.
MSD electronic ignition, Holley Demon carb.
Followed by a rebuilt Ford C6 transmission with Lokar shifter, NP205 transfer case to the original Explorer rear end 3.

Champion chrome radiator with electric fan.
The floor of the cab is explorer mated to the F-1 about half way up the firewall.
Remote oil filter location for ease of changing.
Sheetmetal repaired not restored! The original owners family and I came to an agreement that she earned her bumps and bruises and some of them would stay.
All major damage and holes were repaired.
Rear bumper is a welders special, not original to the truck.
She may have been an old utility/maintenance truck as I've come across two others with the same bumper and original paint color.
Gas filler was moved to the drivers side rear fender to be able to use the Explorer 21GAL gas tank.
All new gauges, wiring, lights & fuse block.
New seat with shoulder belts and center lap belt (for your small friend!) Power seat adjustment, heated seats.
Cab interior is unfinished.
New glass all around, new window channels, track and rebuilt operators.
New hardware and door handles.
Original heater box has the Explorer heater core and fan installed in it.
Passenger side windshield wiper added during resto.
Washer sprayers added to wiper arm.
Need to finish hooking up.
Prodigy trailer controller for electric trailer brakes.
Hitch installed on the Explorer frame (3500lb) wired 4pin/7pin.
New master cylinder, booster, brake lines, 4 wheel disc brakes and pads.
Bed and running boards are custom Old Growth Douglas Fir milled from old factory beams.
Installation not complete.
All new shocks and springs.
4 new tires on powder coated rims.
Spare needs powder coating and new tire.
This is a work in progress that I can no longer work on.
Runs, Drives Doesn't stop well! Brakes need to be bled! Fuel gauge needs to be calibrated to the fuel sending unit.
Then bed final install can happen.
Wire cleanup under dash.
finish install on washer.
Install hood.
Have all chrome trim not installed in photos.
Other small items as found.
You probably want to repaint, it's kept her protected during construction but it's not great.
I've been looking for a drivers side door, The one there works fine but flairs out at the bottom.
